TCAAP (Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant)
The TCAAP clean up is an issue that is being further driven due to a lack of communication between the county and city. I want to make sure that their would be an open dialogue with each other in order to avoid issues escalating. The way that the TCAAP situation is handled directly affects the entire district because each decision sends a ripple way of change out to the surrounding communities. Affordable Housing Affordable Housing is a topic that often times gets put on the back burner. I believe that affordable house especially when it come to the TCAAP development is something that needs to be handled properly. This means that more studies need to be done to find out what the community and surrounding communities can support. This should reflect the feasibility studies that have been done or should be done to get a proper number for the community. This number can't just come out of nowhere because it would not reflect how the larger increase in population would affect services such as police, fire, sewage, schools, and maintenance. This basic infrastructure would fail under an increase in housing which would cause issues for all of district one. |
